Zylup Privacy Policy

Summary: your health data never leaves your iPhone, there are no accounts, no ads, and we do not sell data.

Zylup is a habits and wellbeing app for iPhone developed by Javier Cholbi Pascual (“we”). This policy explains what data Zylup uses and how.

1. Apple Health data

If you grant permission, Zylup reads from Apple Health:

  • steps,
  • exercise minutes,
  • hours of sleep.

We use them only to complete missions automatically, adjust their goals to your average, and show you your personal patterns. This data:

  • is processed only on your iPhone and is never sent to our servers or to third parties;
  • is not used for advertising and is not sold;
  • is never written back to Health.

You can revoke permission at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Zylup.

2. Data stored on your device

Your level, experience (XP), missions, energy logs, experiments and preferences are stored on your iPhone. They are not synced with any cloud—neither ours nor iCloud: if you change devices, you start from scratch. You can delete them all from Me › Delete my data.

3. Anonymous usage analytics

To improve Zylup we record anonymous usage events via TelemetryDeck (a service based in the European Union), for example “app opened”, “mission completed”, “experiment started” or “unexpected termination” (technical type only: crash / abrupt exit, with no screenshots or health data), together with technical data such as the app and iOS version. These events:

  • do not contain health values, your name, your email or any personal identifier;
  • are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising tracking.

4. Purchases

Zylup Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. There are also optional cosmetic packs. All purchases are handled by Apple: we do not receive or store payment data. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, and restore previous purchases with “Restore purchases” on the Zylup Pro screen.

5. Notifications

If you allow them, Zylup sends reminders about your missions. They are generated on your iPhone and you can turn them off in Settings › Notifications › Zylup.

6. Children

Zylup is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Your rights

Because your personal data stays on your device, you can view, delete or stop sharing it directly from the app and iOS settings. For any privacy question, email us at: mail@kerylab.com.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is material, we will tell you in the app.
